Offa’s Dyke:
Built by King Offa in the 8th century to mark the western boundary of his kingdom with Wales, this is a 25’ high bank with ditch alongside and stretching from Chepstow on the Severn Estuary to Prestatyn in North Wales.

Chirk Marina:
Only 800 yards from the Plough Inn, the pub is a popular stopping off point for boating enthusiasts sailing the Llangollen Canal.

Lady Margaret’s Caravan Site:
The Plough is equally popular with caravanners staying at Lady Margaret’s Caravan Site in Chirk.
